We Can Work it Out: Day #12 The Method Pilates

This is one of the first workout DVDs that I ever bought. I picked it up at a discount retailer. Now looking back at the purchase years later, I will confess that I did not appreciate just how good this was.

Now I do.

This is a solid workout that includes barre moves along with Pilates.

Title: The Method Pilates

Time: About an hour

Equipment: Light weights, mat

Cuing:  There is a lot of great direction on how to do the moves. Well done.

Production Values: Standard fare

Video Vibe: I like the way the workout is divided into sections. They run just under 15 minutes each and they attack your abs, thighs, arms and hips. I would have appreciated a bit more energy. But then I might have complained about the perk factor.

Rating: Three and a half  legwarmers out of five
