A profound and inspiring eulogy for Steve Jobs from sister Mona Simpson

October 31, 2011

He treasured happiness-Steve Jobs

I’ve known a millionaire, or two or three, in my life and I’ve been very observant. I’m not speaking for all of them, just the ones I’ve met.

They’ve valued a  $225,000 Aston Martin.   They’ve valued a $30,000 platinum Rolex. They’ve valued $4,00 bed Pratesi bed covers.

I never met him, but Steve Jobs really did think different(ly).

His sister, writer Mona Simpson, explains in what has to be one of the most touching eulogies ever. Every word is a Starring in Your Own Life Lesson.  Her words, including her brother’s last, are profoundly touching.
